Holy cow, this book is the business!!!

If you're looking for something extremely sexy with an edginess to it then Wild is definitely the book for you. If you don't like lots of dirty talk then turn away now.

This story centres around Lane Wild and Kat Kennedy. After relocating to Maine, Kat stumbles right into the arms of Wild. Drunk and looking for only one thing, Kat doesn't expect to ever see Wild again.

Unfortunately for Kat, Wild just happens to live near to her and Kat bumps into him in the local hardware store, much to her dismay.

Wild is crude and vulgar but devilishly attractive and despite Kat's initial protestations she can't help but want a repeat performance with Wild.

Wild can't get enough of Kat though and their one night stand soon turns into lots of frequent and "wild" encounters as the two try to work each other out of their system. The only downside to that though is that they start to develop feelings for one another.
He was so bad for me; it was palpable. I knew it with every fiber of my being, but despite it all, he’d sucked me in.
Both Kat and Wild have secrets buried in their past and although they start to open up to each other, Kat's secret is far more sinister than Wild could have imagined. Kat continually tries to push Wild away from her but he is determined to keep her to himself and to find out what secrets she is keeping from him.
“Like feeling your body pressed to mine. Waking up with you tucked into my arm and hogging my pillow.” I grinned at her. “I do not.” She rolled her eyes. “You do . And I like it. Reminds me I have you in my arms.”
It's not long before Kat's past comes back to haunt her and the terrors she escaped from once again take centre stage in her life. In an attempt to protect Wild though she pushes him away once and for all but can Wild help Kat to escape her traumas and to find happiness once and for all?
“Why are you running, Sugar? If you’re afraid, I’ll help you, let me help. Move in with me. We spend all of our time together anyway. I’ll take care of you. I don’t like you out here alone. It’s no place for a woman by herself.”
I know some people will hate Wild's vulgarity, crudeness and domineering personality but at the same time you can't help but love him. He knows what he wants and that is Kat.

This book is part of a series with the next instalment focusing on Wild's brother, Ridge.

I loved this book, it's probably not one to be read in public due to its steaminess though. You do start out wondering if it will just be about Wild and Kat's sexual exploits but keep reading, there is a dark storyline just waiting to get out!
