Undone Undone by R.E. Hunter
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

What a sweet story. Luke and Embry love each other deeply but will their love be enough to outweigh the risk of having a relationship together?

Embry has just started Law School with her best friend Morgan and has returned home for the first time since running away from her abusive ex-boyfriend.

Looking for an uncomplicated school life and one that will not involve a love interest, Embry sets out to focus all of her attentions on her studies that is until she runs into Luke Brody. Blindsided by his good looks and beautiful eyes, Embry knows that her resolve has been weakened but not knowing who this handsome man is, presumes that she will never see him again. A night out in a club soon answers Embry's question though as she see's Luke across the room. It's not long before Luke's heart calls out to Embry and together the pair start to realise that they can't hide their feelings from each other.

As their romance grows though so do Embry and Luke's problems and what starts off as an innocent relationship, albeit one which is destined to be life changing, it soon turns sour and becomes a complicated mess filled with hidden agendas, deceit and heartbreak.

This was a really enjoyable story. I was aware of the cliffie at the end and the good news is that the next book, Unbroken, is on it's way but after the way Undone ended I suspect Unbroken will be a painful and emotional read.

RE Hunter is a new author to me and I thoroughly enjoyed this contemporary romance. I'm not normally a lover of sweet romances with emotional twists in the storyline but I really did enjoy this one. It was extremely well written and carefully edited and the story really flowed. My only teeny-tiny criticism is that it seemed a little long and drawn out at times but saying that, I wasn't tempted to skips paragraphs etc.
