Take Down Take Down by Mallery Malone
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I want to be your white knight. Not to save you - you saved yourself just fine. I want to be your champion, standing beside you while you take on the world. I want you to be what I live for, what I fight for. ~Gabriel

I've really enjoyed this series. The three main characters were all uniquely different. All lovable and wealthy fighters in their own right and you can't help but be sad that their respective stories have now been told.

Take Down focuses on the one person that I was really intrigued by, cage fighter, Gabriel Devereaux. This man piqued my interest throughout the first two books and I couldn't wait to get my teeth into his story.

In this encounter, Gabriel seeks out the one true love of his life, Karina Armistead, who he was forced to spurn in order to protect her from her father's threats. Now a successful music artist, Karina still dreams about Gabe but after so many years, her hopes of rekindling their feelings have all but been dashed. Or have they!

There are twists and turns throughout this book as two try to find a way to be together without re-opening wounds which have long since healed.

Mallery Malone's writing style is really enjoyable and the story is fast paced and a relatively quick read. I didn't quite feel the emotion in this book as much as the first two stories but it was still a fascinating read.
