A rocking read like no other!

I am so sorry to see this trilogy end, I simply loved everything about it. From the darkness of the drug abuse, to the magic of its music and the sex appeal of its characters, this is a story with a bite, kick and a punch.

Told from Kyle Summers perspective as a narrative of her life, Kyle leads us deep into the world of rock and everything in between. Now going it alone, Kyle has to reinvent herself in order to bring her music alive. Not wanting to continue down the pop route the Vagabonds took, she is determined to make the world love her for her metal.

As ever, CJ is in and out of her life but with CJ not open to the idea of a steady relationship, you wonder just how long they can go on pretending they are not in a committed relationship. I loved CJ’s character but I did want him and Kyle to wake up and smell the coffee on more than one occasion. Talk about not seeing the elephant in the room, their non-relationship was beyond frustrating at times.

I did love Kyle's journey though from an innocent teenager to a strong and determined young woman who is fiercely protective of her music. With the added benefit of some spicy sexual encounters along the way, combined with a comical Vegas hiccup, her heart remains firmly with CJ but will he ever be ready to love her unconditionally?

So Kyle's story has been told but whilst it ended on a sweet note, I would have liked to have experienced the tour that Kyle headed out onto at the end of the story. Perhaps Kyle’s story has a Part 2 waiting to be played out?!!!
