On the Road On the Road by Jade C. Jamison
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

What an amazing second instalment. This had everything I love in a music themed book: sex, lots of sex, drugs, lots of drugs, and of course rock stars/divas!!!

This isn't a soft centred read. It's raw, gritty, passionate and full of female hormones and love them or hate them, these girls and their story will rock you off your feet!

So, after book one set the scene for what is Kyle's life, we return with the Vagabonds heading out onto the road on tour. As expected from what we've seen so far though, this was never going to be a smooth ride and it's not long before these youngsters succumb to their success. Kyle appears to be the most stable in the group but even she starts to test her self restraint as drugs, sexual encounters and drink start to play a key role in her life. Despite this, she continues to be the gel to keep this group together until she questions whether the daily sacrifice is really worth it.

With ups and downs, the Vagabonds continue to tour but it's a tour that is killing them slowly and it's not long before the inevitable crash but how many crashes can this group of girls survive?

I can't wait for the next instalment. Kyle and CJ continue to spend time together when not on tour but when touring they still have random hook-ups but will they ever find their HEA, together? Only time will tell.

This series will be popular with lovers of CM Stunich's Hard Rock Roots series, as it is told with the same raw energy, which some people may not like. This is real life though so don't expect a story with candy floss and fluffy bunnies!

Thank you to the author for the opportunity of reading her book and providing an honest review.
