Eek, gotta say... that completely tickled my fancy!!!
I clicked on this after seeing the positive reviews about book 3, The Score, and after reading just a few lines I was completely HOOKED!!!
I do love my YA/NA books and set in a college this was always going to draw me in but add to it a hunky but vulnerable sports star and I was done for.
Trying to move on from her own darkness, Hannah Wells (or Wellsy!) sets her sights on one boy only to be swept away by another, Garrett Graham. After failing one of his midterms, which incidentally was aced by Hannah, Garrett begins stalking Hannah to persuade her to tutor him. Hannah declines but someone saying no to Garrett has him stunned and this simply makes him more determined to make her change her mind.
Garrett isn't at all creepy in his stalking of Hannah though. He's cute, tenacious and loveable but Hannah still only has eyes for Justin. Eventually though, Garrett starts to grow on Hannah and it's not long before she says "Justin who".
I loved the way Hannah and Garrett went from being acquaintances to friends to lovers before falling in love. The path they took was perfect and despite the odd inevitable hurdle or two they soon came to realise that they were destined to be together, despite what others may think.
I can't wait to read on with this series as I'm sure Logan will also pack an emotional punch.
