If you loved the Legal Affairs series, then you will find this story as equally enjoyable. Following different characters from opposing law firms this time, we get to meet a woman who will do anything to get her way, Leary Michaels, and the man set to challenge her, Reeve Holloway.

From the outset, it was apparent that this story was going to have a heavy theme and an even heavier law setting. With more of a legal focus and plenty of court time, we get to witness Leary and Reeve as they go head to head over a case which is both personal and heartbreaking for Leary. Reeve is determined to do his job though but as he gets closer to Leary, both professionally and personally, he soon finds out that there is more to this case than meets the eye.

A perfect conclusion to an outstanding series.

I knew this book was going to be a painful one to read, especially the start with AJ’s rapidly declining health but I still wasn't prepared for the emotion l felt throughout the story. The beginning was especially poignant as Jackson took over AJ’s, now limited, control of his life in order to protect his sister. As expected, Jillian reacted badly to news of AJ and immediately spiralled out of control but what no-one realised was that she wasn't just running from her emotions!

What an amazing second instalment. This had everything I love in a music themed book: sex, lots of sex, drugs, lots of drugs, and of course rock stars/divas!!!

This isn't a soft centred read. It's raw, gritty, passionate and full of female hormones and love them or hate them, these girls and their story will rock you off your feet!

So, after book one set the scene for what is Kyle's life, we return with the Vagabonds heading out onto the road on tour. As expected from what we've seen so far though, this was never going to be a smooth ride and it's not long before these youngsters succumb to their success. Kyle appears to be the most stable in the group but even she starts to test her self restraint as drugs, sexual encounters and drink start to play a key role in her life. Despite this, she continues to be the gel to keep this group together until she questions whether the daily sacrifice is really worth it.

With ups and downs, the Vagabonds continue to tour but it's a tour that is killing them slowly and it's not long before the inevitable crash but how many crashes can this group of girls survive?

I can't wait for the next instalment. Kyle and CJ continue to spend time together when not on tour but when touring they still have random hook-ups but will they ever find their HEA, together? Only time will tell.

This series will be popular with lovers of CM Stunich's Hard Rock Roots series, as it is told with the same raw energy, which some people may not like. This is real life though so don't expect a story with candy floss and fluffy bunnies!

Thank you to the author for the opportunity of reading her book and providing an honest review.

This is a story which bites, scratches and kicks it’s way into your mind, and it’s one you won’t want to miss!

From a dark and disturbing past in the light of Day to a future and a life in the Knight, we are welcomed into the lives of Jessica/Jude and Jillian/Jackson as they try to outrun their past and the horrors experienced at the hands of a serial killer.

Well, that's the story completed and the end of Derek and Frankie, in a good way!

We have finally heard the full history between Derek and Randy and why Derek is seeking retribution but I have to say, I was hoping for more drama, especially when Frankie was threatened. Personally, I feel the story could have been so much stronger with more added suspense and also if it had been a single novel rather than five individual releases. That said, the story was entertaining and the connection between Derek and Frankie palpable and certainly hot although I did skip over some of the sex scenes between them this time around as I wanted to get to the bones of the story.

I loved the side characters as much as Derek and Frankie. Brea and Will are definitely two intriguing characters and I'd love to spend more time with them, especially Brea.
