This is the fourth book in Sawyer Bennett's Legal Affairs series and the story of Matt and Mac is developing nicely.
After the cliffhanger at the end of Violation, Mac sees Matt in a new light and starts to wonder, or hope, that maybe a relationship with her boss will be possible after all.
Needless to say, the road to happiness is anything but smooth and as Mac finds out, Matt is not the person to rely on when it comes to wanting her dreams to come true.
I love the way Matt fights his emotions in this story as he tries to decide whether the fear of rejection outweighs the fear of losing Mac, possibly forever.
Once again, it's another two weeks to wait for the penultimate story in this intriguing series.
